Educational Goals for Students

In essence there are four (4) broad educational goals.

  1. Academic or intellectual development
  2. Civic and social development
  3. Vocational development
  4. Personal development

Each Student, after spending five (5) years at the school should:

  1. be able to write, read and handle basic mathematical operations
  2. be able to use and evaluate knowledge
  3. develop positive attitudes toward work
  4. develop skills necessary to get a job
  5. be able to form productive and satisfying relationships with others
  6. develop an understanding and appreciation of cultures different from their own
  7. develop the skill in selecting personal learning goals and the means to attain them
  8. develop an understanding of the biological and physical characteristics of the environment
  9. develop physical fitness and recreational skills
  10. be computer literate
