Eisteddfod
1990 saw the start of the school harnessing the cultural awareness
of the students in Drama, Speech, Dance and Music.
This is done on a competitive basis with the six houses vying with each
other. This event is ongoing and is enjoyed by
parents, teachers and students.
Pageantry
The Miss Jonathan Grant pageantry was the highlight of the 1980s.
Contestants were chosen on the basis of the three Bs -
Brain, Behaviour and Beauty. This contest however, was short-lived.
However, it was revived in 2001 with the emphasis on
cultural awareness.
Day Fete
After a successful fete held on the school grounds in the 1980s,
this became an annual event at the end of each year.
Proceeds from this yearly venture is used to purchase educational
equipment for the various departments.
