Student Support
Prize Giving Ceremony Since November 2000 the Past Student Association has been donating two plaques to students at their Annual Prize Giving functions for achievements in the following areas:
Occasionally, the requirements for the areas of achievements are adjusted.
Miss Jonathan Grant The Association donated a gift basket and a cash prize of $5,000.00 to the Most Congenial Contestant at the Miss Jonathan Grant contest in February 2005. The decision was later taken by the Board of the Association to make this donation on an annual basis.
Educational Projects In our pursuit to serve the school and the community, we invited two radio stations to host their programs at our school in December 2003 and March 2004. These programmes were:
The students got an opportunity to experience live broadcasting, advertising and operating as a disc jockey. The Principal also got a chance to promote the school, as the school of choice in St. Catherine. The Past Student Association has also invited representatives from Youth Opportunities Unlimited (Y.O.U), to make presentations on career development and self confidence.
