Visual Arts Department

Visual Arts Education is geared toward facilitating the development of creative expression, artistic skills, art appreciation, cultural awareness as well as problem-solving skills. The Visual Arts Department is committed to this end, and teachers work assiduously to achieve the desired goals.

The department has been fitted with five new computers to aid in the development of computer-aided designs. CXC students have utilized this facility in completing SBA projects. The teachers have managed to stimulate the students' interest in the subject in the lower grades and more students from the upper streams are now opting for this subject area.

As the future beckons, it is hoped that the programme will adapt to the changing times to meet the needs of the students. The department will be equipped to facilitate their growth and development and teachers will exploit new learning opportunities and ideas to deliver a better quality eduation to the students.
